Strawberry Reaction

So yesterday was very interesting. We found out that Daisy cannot have strawberries. I had given her strawberry yogurt Thursday and Friday. Yesterday after it looked like she had ant bites all over her legs and arms. Turns out it was an allergic reaction to the strawberries in the yogurt. Being a first-time mother though, it kind of scared me. But thanks to Kerri, my neighbor, I calmed down. So we gave her some benadryl before bed and she woke up this morning and it looked a little better. I still worry a little bit.....I can't help it.

Daisy is 10 months old

Happy 10 months Daisy!! She is weighing in at 16lbs and 27in long. She is now 4 times her birth weight. I can't believe she has been in our lives this long already. Babies change your life so drastically. After Matt or I put her to bed at night, I look forward to seeing her when she wakes up in the morning. I love playing with her on the floor and making her laugh. She has this hysterical laugh and it's so funny! Every time I try to get it on camera, of course, she stops. :( It's fun watching her crawl all over the place and peek in her room when she gets quiet and see her sitting there by herself playing with some toy and making herself laugh. Those are the times I love so much! Daisy loves watching the light on the vacuum and following Matt and I around the house, playing with the computer mouse, playing in her pool, and loves taking baths. We are looking forward to all the memories we'll make in the future and all that Daisy will accomplish becoming a beautiful little girl!!!

First Post

So I guess it's about time we had a site where you could find out what's going on in the lives of Matt, Jenny and Daisy. I'll try to keep you updated on Daisy's many accomplishments each and every day and how Matt is doing in the Army, whether deployed or stateside, and how I am doing in school.
Daisy will be 10 months old on Wednesday...how time flies. She has a bedtime 7:30p and sleeps through the night. Its amazing! I never thought we would make it to this point. As many of you know she was waking up 2-3 times a night up until a few weeks ago. She is also taking formula from a bottle as of May 15. She is crawling and getting into everything. She also pulls herself up on everything and can stand up by herself. Every time she does it is like the first time!
Matt is 4 and a half years into the Army and as of right now has that many left. We are looking forward to him making his E-5 next month. Matt had his boards last week and did an awesome job! We are so proud of him.
I am in the process of going back to school. I have registered for my classes for the fall semester to finish my bachelors in Elementary Education. It's been a long time coming since I took off a year to stay at home with Daisy (which I am going to miss so much)!
