Wow how time flies! Just this time a year ago, I had been in the hospital since 6am to be induced with Madison. She was born at 5:11pm (Daisy was born at 5:11am...kinda funny!). It's amazing the things that have happened in a year. You don't realize how different your children are going to be until you have a second one. Madison has been a very easy baby! And she is happy pretty much all the time. Recently she has had molars and other teeth coming in and that has been pretty painful for her. I think she almost has as many teeth as Daisy! She loves food and has been eating table food since she was 9 or 10 months old. There is this one thing she does that is really funny...Daisy has a little plush princess couch and Madison will just plop down on it and roll onto her back! She looks like she is just relaxing from a hard day! So cute! They play pretty well together. When Madison was born, Daisy was a little hesitant about her getting all the attention and sometimes still has a little trouble with it, but for the most part they do well. Especially now that Madison is walking! They will run up and down the hall chasing each other. Daisy has a superman or batman mask and Madison just cracks up when she wears! Another thing Madison does that is so funny...she loves necklaces! When we were in AL during Mardi Gras we accumulated lots of bead necklaces. Now whenever she sees one she picks it up and puts it around her neck. There was one time she probably had about 10 of them around her neck and she'll just walk around the house playing and wearing them. I guess she's picked up the jewelry thing early! :) She also loves climbing things...the step stool in their bathroom. I try and keep the door shut, but sometimes Daisy will leave it open and Madison will go in there and climb up the two steps and look at herself in the mirror!
Needless to say she has been a blessing in our lives since we found out we were pregnant! We look forward to celebrating this day with her for many more years to come. And watching her develop into a wonderful woman of God!
I think by the time December is through, we will have celebrated her birthday 4 times...once in GA with my family, today on her actual birthday, this Saturday with TN friends, and then around Christmas while we are with more family in ME!!
